Seal-It Wood Sealant is warranted to last 25 years. It is water based sealer that is applied immediately after cleaning the surface. Because Seal-It Wood Sealant is water based it "will not" bead. Instead it is absorbed deep into the wood to form a permanent water barrier that inhibits mold and mildew growth, increases wood strength and density and prolongs the life of your cedar roof, deck, or fencing, etc…. Seal-it wood sealant does not colorize wood and allows for painting or staining.

CCA Sealant

The product CCA or “Chromated Copper Arsenate” has been widely used as a wood preservative since the “30’s”. Products treated with this substance are still being sold to the unwary consumer….just look for the unmistakable green tint of wood products and you have CCA treated lumber.

Cedar roofing, decking, fence posts, retainer walls, hydro poles, etc. are all leaching minute quantities of arsenic into the soil and in some areas into the water supply.
